India tense as airports threatened
Dominican Republic News.Net Thursday 4th December, 2008
India has been on full terror alert with Chennai International Airport, one of the major airports in the country, under especially heightened security.
Heavily armed Central Industrial Security Force personnel have been guarding the parking lot, entry and periphery from bunkers and watch-towers, while local policemen have manned the gates, nearby flyovers and surrounding areas.
Civil Aviation Secretary, Madhavan Nambiar said that all necessary steps were being taken to ensure security at all airports in the country.
Indian officials fear that the Deccan Mujahideen, the terror outfit that claimed responsibility for the Mumbai attacks last week, had been preparing for air attacks on the airports.

No need to over react.
The Indian public and govt. in their arrogance seems to be overacting the carnage in Mumbai.Especially the way Indian govt. is threatening Pakistanis is very rude and unaceptable.India should co-operate with the willingness of President Zadari to try the suspects in Pakistan itself and not create another front in the Sub-continent.{On US support.]This type of war will no doubt lead to regional war involving China.so be careful.Learn from the history;Do not lose a world empire on the question of Danzing again.
